This is home. A small village on the Clare coast that people come to for the music and stay in longer than they planned.
Doolin is known for the traditional music in its pubs, and that is not a marketing line, it is just what happens most nights. Fisher Street is the heart of it. The Doolin Cliff Walk starts here and the Aran Islands ferries go from Doolin Pier. If you want to walk the Cliff Walk one way, I do trailhead drop-offs and pick ups so you are not doubling back to a parked car.
The village is small and the roads around it are narrow, which is exactly why people are glad they did not rent a car.
What I would do with you
A short loop that takes in the pier, the Cliff Walk viewpoints and the village itself, then a drop back to wherever you are staying so you can walk to the session. Drive times to anywhere not listed on this site stay as [DRIVE TIME: A to B] until I have checked them.
